Room Arrangements
Room arrangements and other details pertaining to a banquet or meeting set-up must be provided to Panther Creek Country Club at least two (2) weeks prior to the function date. The Club will set up seating for 5% over guaranteed attendance as long as the room arrangements permit.
Banquet Menus
Included in this packet is a list of banquet menus for all of your food and beverage needs. In the event that you are looking for offerings different than those listed in the packet, we will be happy to accommodate your request and assist you in selecting the proper menu offerings and arrangements to ensure a successful event.
For wedding customers, no menu price reductions will be made in exchange for complimentary cake cutting services. All special dietary requests must be made 48 hours in advance of the scheduled event.
Beverage Services
We offer a complete selection of beverages to compliment your function. Please note that the Illinois Staet Liquor Control Board regulates alcoholic beverages. The Club, as a licensee, is responsible for the administration of these regulations.
Therefore,
no alcoholic beverages may be brought into
the Club
from outside resources.
Guarantees
Panther Creek requires a “guarantee of attendance” for all banquet functions, which must be given three (3) working days prior to the event. From that point forward, guarantees may be increased but cannot be decreased. The Club will be prepared to serve 5% more than the guaranteed number on the day of the event. If no final guarantee is given, we will consider the attendance indicated on the Banquet Event Order to be the correct and guaranteed number of guests.
Deposits and Payments
Both a deposit and a credit card number (Mastercard or Visa) will be required to hold the space at the Club for your event. Your meeting specialist will determine the amount of the deposit. Two weeks prior to the event, 3/4 of anticipated revenue will be due and payable. Payment in full is required 30 days after the date of the event, and if not paid, will be billed to the credit card with a three percent (3%) service fee on the remaining balance. Payments may be made with cash, personal check or accepted credit cards. Any charges not paid when due are subject to a three percent (3%) service charge.
All food and beverage items are subject to a 19% service charge and 7.75% state tax.
Audio-Visual Equipment
Audio-visual equipment is available on a rental basis. There must be a minimum 24-hour notice for both ordering and canceling any rental arrangements. If requested within 24 hours of the event, the Club will not guarantee the availability of the equipment. Likewise, if audio-visual equipment ordered is not cancelled within 24 hours prior to the event, it will be charged regardless of whether it is used.
Decorations
You may provide decorations for your event. The Club reserves the right to approve the use and placement of any decoration you may select. No fasteners are permitted to be placed on the walls without the Club’s approval. All candles used within the Club must be accompanied by drip plates and enclosed within a globe; no open flames will be permitted. Confetti is not allowed to be used within the Club or on the Club’s property.
Meeting Materials
Small quantities of meeting materials may be shipped to the Club. Panther Creek is not open on Mondays, so schedule delivery accordingly. The materials must be shipped to the attention of the Club Operations Manager and include the following information: Guests’ name, company name, date of the event and telephone number of person to receive the materials.
Signage
Signage will be in the foyer just inside the front doors. The Club reserves the right to approve any signs to be displayed within the public areas of the Club. The Club will provide a minimum
of two (2) easels for your function.
Club Facilities
Panther Creek is a private, member-owned Country Club. Therefore, no guests are permitted in any areas other than those reserved for your event. We ask for your assistance in enforcing this policy. |
