2008 Men's Match Play Information

-Scorecards are set-up by difference in handicap. Ex: If a 4 handicap is playing a 7 handicap, then the 7 gets three shots.

-60 years and older with an 18 and higher handicap may move up to the blue tees.

-65 years and older with an 18 and higher handicap may move up to the white tees.

-If a player does move up, then the player moving up a tee will play with his/her corresponding tee handicap and the player not moving up will receive the difference in the rating as additional strokes.

Ex: a 65-year-old 23 handicap from the black tees is playing a 40-year-old with a 20 handicap from the black tees. The 65-year-old old decides to move up to the white tees. The 65 year old will play with his white tee handicap and his opponent will receive 3 strokes to add on to his black tee handicap.

Differences in ratings:
Black to Blue-1 stroke
Black to white-3 stroke

Match Play Deadlines
First Round Matches- June 15
Second Round Matches – July 15
Flight Championship – August 15

If a match is not played by the deadline,
a coin toss will determine the winner.

After all flights have a champion, we will do a blind draw to see which flight champions play each other and who receives the bye. The deadline for these matches will be September 1 and September 15.
