Guest Policy
Members may have guests at the pool for a daily charge of $5.00 per individual or $15.00 per family. All guests must be accompanied by the member while using the pool and must sign in.
All members and guests must sign in individually,
and members will initial for all guests signing in.
Supervision of Children
Children aged 10 and under must be accompanied by someone
who is 14 or older. Those 11 years of age and older must be able
to swim the length of the pool to visit the pool unsupervised
and will be expected to adhere to the rules and regulations
set forth by pool management.
Weather Policies
The pool managers will be using the Weather Channel to check the temperature. The pool will not be opened if the outdoor temperature is 70 degrees or below. The temperature will then be reevaluated each hour, on the hour. Please call the clubhouse or the pool directly to ascertain whether the pool is open or closed.
In the event of rain, the pool will remain open as long as there is
no thunder or lightening. According to the Illinois Beach & Bathing Codes, the pool must be closed any time thunder is heard. If thunder is heard, all patrons must exit the pool area (they may remain in the locker room area) until 15 minutes after the last
sound of thunder or sight of lightening.
Pool Closings
According to the Illinois Beach & Bathing Code, the pool must be closed any time fecal matter is found in the pool area. The pool will close for two hours to allow time for all water to circulate through the system and to allow staff to bleach the deck and disinfect any pool furniture. Anytime the pool is closed for this reason after 5:30 p.m., the pool will remain closed for the remainder of the evening.
Lifeguards
The lifeguards and pool manager have complete control of the pool. Disciplinary actions may be taken when needed including
expulsion from the pool if warranted. Parents will be notified of
any incidents and resulting disciplinary actions.
